Here we are the beginning of june already. Being only a few days after d-day keeps my mind dwelling on the things that so many great American men did for me on that fateful day back in 1944. It makes me so greatful to be able to raise my son (Jackson is 14 months old now) and point to his both his grandpas (one served in the pacific and one in europe/d-day) and show him what a hero really is. Those great men ensured that I can sit here today and enjoy my life and all if it's pleasures.

Likewise, today I have men that I can point to as an example of courage and strength. Capt. Joey Sullinger is a good friend of mine that is doing what those great men did 60 years ago. Suppressing tyrany on the front end is no less honorable...thank you Mr. Bush. I will point to Joey always as what a hero is.

Thank you to all of the great men and women who have made it possible for me to be an english-speaking American citizen that is able to choose my lifestyle, my job, my friends and my neighbors.
